Beautiful antique Victorian era ring. Dating from the mid–late 1800s, this ring features an emerald center stone, split pearls, and vivid pink “ruby” side stones set in 9k gold. The mix of yellow gold on the band and warmer rose gold tones around the setting is very characteristic of Victorian jewelry, when gold alloys were often hand mixed and less uniform than modern pieces.

The ornate shoulders and floral cluster design are also classic Victorian details. The wear on the setting and pearls suggests genuine age rather than a modern reproduction.

There are also no visible hallmarks, which isn’t unusual for antique rings. Hallmarks can wear away over 100–170 years, especially on 9k gold bands, or disappear after resizing or repairs. Some Victorian pieces were also lightly marked or never fully hallmarked to begin with.

A beautiful example of how antique jewelry evolves over generations while still keeping its original Victorian character ✨
