We offer free shipping for all orders within the Netherlands. For other countries, shipping costs will be automatically calculated at checkout once you enter your address.

Orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email. Once your order has been processed, you’ll receive a track & trace code to follow your shipment.

How can I use a discount code or gift card?
If you have a discount code or gift card, you can enter it at checkout after adding an item to your cart. The discount code is valid only if it meets our terms & conditions.

What is your return policy?
We strive for perfection in our products and hope you love your purchase. If the product does not meet your expectations, please contact us via email. If your item qualifies under our return policy, you can return it within 14 days of receiving it.
Return conditions
- Items must be in their original condition without signs of wear or damage.
- Items returned by mail must be in their original packaging (including labels, boxes, and pouches).
- Returns that are not registered via email will not be accepted.
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-made jewelry
- Personalized engraved items
- Items sourced specifically for you
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Gift cards
How to request a return?
If your return meets the above conditions, follow these steps:
- Email us at hello@goudvinkvintage.com with your order number and reason for return in the subject line.
- Once we receive your return request, we will send you the return instructions.
- Returns without prior email notification will not be accepted.
What are the return shipping costs?
You can return your purchase within 14 days at your own expense.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service (optionally insured) and keeping proof of postage. If the item is lost in transit, we cannot be held responsible.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we have received your return, we will process your full refund within 14 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.
Please note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

Are all vintage jewelry pieces marked with a gold hallmark?
All our pieces are made of 9, 14, or 18 karat gold. This is verified by a hallmark inside our rings. We aim to only sell rings with this hallmark, but since we deal in vintage jewelry, this is not always possible. Over time, hallmarks can fade due to resizing, wear, or the ring’s history (this is mentioned on the product page).
However, we guarantee that all our rings are solid gold. Each piece is thoroughly tested for authenticity.
Do your prices ever change?
Yes, our prices may vary due to factors such as global supply chain fluctuations, inflation, and changes in raw material costs like gold and diamonds. We continuously monitor these changes to ensure we offer high-quality jewelry at fair prices.
What is the difference between 9, 14, and 18 carat gold?
The difference lies in the gold content, which determines how much pure gold is present in the alloy:
- 9k gold: 37.5% pure gold, mixed with 62.5% other metals (such as silver, copper, and zinc).
- 14k gold: 58.5% pure gold, mixed with 41.5% other metals.
- 18k gold: 75% pure gold, mixed with 25% other metals.
The gold content affects the color, hardness, and price of the jewelry. The best choice depends on your personal preference, budget, and how you plan to wear the piece.

How long is the warranty on my jewelry?
We stand by the quality of our jewelry and want you to enjoy your purchase for years to come. Below is an overview of our warranty policy.
We offer a 2-month warranty on all vintage pieces from the date of purchase. Each item is inspected before sale, but since these are pre-owned items, we cannot provide a longer warranty as we are not the original manufacturer.
If any issue arises within this period, please contact us at hello@goudvinkvintage.com, and we will find a suitable solution.
Note: The warranty does not apply if:
- The jewelry has been repaired, altered, or modified by the customer or a third party.
- The jewelry has been exposed to abnormal conditions or negligence
- The jewelry has been used against the care instructions provided by Goudvink.

Is 9 carat real gold?
Yes, 9k gold is real gold, but it has a lower purity than 14k, 18k, or 24k gold. 9k gold contains 37.5% pure gold, combined with other metals such as copper, silver, or zinc to make the alloy stronger and more durable.
Because of the added metals, 9k gold is harder and more resistant to scratches and wear than higher-karat gold. This makes it an excellent choice for everyday jewelry.
